I’m a shit marketer, so apologies, but I think you’ll dig it.
Click these oddly colored, underlined words.
I’m doing a limited run, mainly for friends my CA friends to celebrate, but I wanted to show Oppo some love. 100% USA-made in a union shop. First shipments are going out the middle of next month. And I’m looking into getting helmet stickers made, so if you order, put your Oppo name in the notes and I’ll toss some in.

In Michigan they’d call it a “civil infraction” or “moving violation”.
Not a crime.

In 98% of the United States it’s definitely illegal.....

It’s also stupid as shit, guaranteed to cause dented doors, road rash, pissed-off car drivers, broken collarbones, etc.

Civility reigns in at least one state. I detest lane splitting because buttholes.

how about some that say “Lanesplitting should not be a crime” or something like that. I lanesplit anyways here in Ohio when traffic is at a crawl (aka less than 10 mph) and I usually keep it in first gear and around 20-25 mph.
Haven’t gotten a ticket yet (knock on wood) though plenty of cagers use their horns to announce they’re displeasure with my behavior

It shouldnt be a crime though is the point. Especially for bikes that will overheat while sitting in traffic. It should be regulated though so that there isnt a 50+ mph speed differential.

I wonder why people honk at you? I also wouldnt be surprised if some of them think about swerving into you or opening a door like a dumbass. I have heard actual people with this opinion about bicycles so I imagine they exist for that as well. It seems silly to get bothered by it. If anything, I try to move over in my lane if I see lane splitting just to give more space. I only find it stupid when I see Giant harleys with saddle bags lane splitting. At that point, I could probably fit my Miata through the same gaps.

every now and then some jackass moves to block me, but thankfully thats a pretty rare occurrence. Especially considering the fact that I commute most days on the bike.
I think they get pissed because they think that I’m “cheating” or somehow slighting them. It doesn’t make any sense, but hey what can you do.

People take Vigilante justice way too far. Reminds me of 4th of July in Los Angeles, I heard fireworks going off nearby and then someone on the street screamed “THOSE ARE ILLEGAL”. I was dying with laughter that someone would actually say that. If people are gonna do illegal stuff, I aint the one to stop them.

Maybe not in some places, but it still remains a very good way to get yourself killed on a bike pretty much everywhere.

I love lane splitting. It blows my mind that it is illegal in other states.

Bicycles are different. Motorcycles are legit forms of transportation, not children’s toys.
